Charmhaven Brigade, on the Central Coast, donated $6500 towards the rebuild of the Rainbow Flat Fire Station.
The station was destroyed by the Hillville bushfire on Friday, November 8 while firefighters were battling blazes elsewhere.
When they heard the news, Charmhaven Brigade members rallied with the Gorokan community to raise the funds and help get the station back up and running.
Charmhaven Brigade captain Brett Warton said the team felt compelled to give their comrades a hand.
"We had a crew in the Taree area on the Friday and saw first-hand the impact the fires had on the community," Mr Warton said.
"On hearing the Rainbow Flat Rural Fire Station had been destroyed, we just wanted to do something to help out."
