Rain didn't dampen the spirits of those attending the Taree Nigh Bazaar.
In fact, in view of the recent bushfires, the rain was very welcome. And the Rural Fire Service volunteers strolling around with buckets for donations were also a welcome site and well supported.
The bazaar in Victoria Street featured martial arts demonstrations, Taree Lions' chocolate wheel and the fashion parade by Iguana Surf, as well as a full program of entertainment and market stalls.
The Taree Lions also used the event to promote TasteFest 2020, to be held on the riverbank at Taree on Saturday, January 11. This community event features a wide range of food and beverages. Entry is by gold coin donation which supports local charities, and TasteFest runs from 10am to 9pm.
