The funding was for the purchase of fencing materials for bushfire-affected farmers.
The Wingham BlazeAid camp at Wingham Showground will be the designated drop-off point for all locally purchased supplies with volunteers helping farmers to install the fencing.
BlazeAid has confirmed this bulk purchasing system will be the favoured method of financial assistance to farmers from this time on.
By arrangement farmers can also pick up their allocated fencing supplies at the showground.
