"We thought it was the least we could do when people have lost their houses and are really suffering," veterinary surgeon and practice partner Michael Healy said.
Local Land Service have offered through DPI to cover the initial cost of consultation or examination of any burned animals.
"We thought as a practice we would extend that a bit further and if there are burnt animals that need ongoing treatment we are happy to do that," Michael said.
So far, they haven't seen an influx of burnt animals. They are treating some cattle, a horse, and some dogs, all from the Bobin area.
"Thankfully at this stage it's not been a huge number. I hope that remains to be the case. We've just got to wait and see because so many people haven't gone home yet.
They do, however, have a clinic full of animals due to the fires.
"We have been inundated by, lets call them refugees, animals that when people have had to evacuate their homes or properties they bring their animals with them and they need somewhere to put them," Michael said.
"We've had some fairly nice clients and staff members here who've rustled up cages and crates and all sorts of things so that we can house them all, because we simply did not have the cage space for them all.
