A man was charged with intimidation after he allegedly confronted two NSW Rural Fire Service volunteers.

About 7.45am on Thursday, November 14, Manning Great Lakes Police officers were told a man approached the two volunteers and allegedly threatened them with physical harm and harm to their property.
The volunteers were forced to stop their firefighting activities to address the alleged threats.
The incident was later reported to police.
About four hours later, officers stopped a 44-year-old man in Elands.
The man was searched and police allegedly located a knife in his possession.
He was arrested and taken to Taree Police Station where he was charged with two counts of intimidation and possession of a knife in a public place.
The man was refused bail and will appear in Forster Local Court today (November 15).
