TAREE rugby league products Danny Buderus and Adam Woolnough will play for Newcastle in the Legends of League Tournament at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle on Saturday.

Buderus, Taree's most capped footballer and a NSW and Australian captain, will lead the Newcastle side to be coached by Mark Hughes.
Woolnough, a front rower who represented the Australian Schoolboys side in 1999 while attending Taree High School, played in the NRL Newcastle, Penrith and Melbourne.
Six sides will play in the tournament, Newcastle, Brisbane, the Barbarians, Canterbury, Penrith and Parramatta. Scott Hill from Forster-Tuncurry will turn out with the Barbarians.
Todd Carney, Steve Menzies, Gorden Tallis, Lote Tuqiri, Willy Mason, Luke Rooney, Kurt Gidley, Owen Craige, Tim Mannah and Chris Sandow will be just some of the players in action.

Six matches will be played in two pools before the start of the sem-finals. Games will kick off at 1pm with the final scheduled for 5.30.
The Mark Hughes Foundation will be the official charity partner of the tournament. The foundation was formed to raise funds so that research can be carried out to decrease mortality rates and decrease the incidence of brain cancer in Australia.
