According to the Bureau of Meteorology, mostly sunny skies and possible smoke haze are forecast for the rest of Friday (November 8). Light winds becoming west to northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the middle of the day then tending south to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the evening. Temperatures due to reach a top of 32 degrees. There is a gale wind warning for the Macquarie Coast and the NSW RFS have declared a severe fire danger.

Winds southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h turning south to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late afternoon then becoming light in the evening. Temperatures are predicted to reach at top of 23 degrees with a low 11 degrees. There is a gale wind warning for the Macquarie Coast.
