Andy and Deb Saunders have a great chance of taking out this year's season, and gained another feather in their cap during Wednesday's episode when the fan vote at the 'open for inspections' named theirs the best house, and won them $10,000.

Gaining 1292 votes, the Wallabi Point couple received more than 300 over second placegetters Tess and Luke, on 959.
So how are Deb and Andy feeling in the lead-up to this weekend's auction?
"We feel great, very excited and grateful for the opportunity," said Deb
"We can't wait to see how everyone goes. We love our fellow Block Heads and we know how hard everyone worked.
"It was a big build and lots of pressure. Everyone deserves to do really well at auction.
"Obviously we would be very happy for a win. At this point we are hoping the reserves will be low and the bidders will be plentiful.
"We do think we could win, there's a one in five chance. Those are great odds!"
The auction will take place on site at the houses, located in St Kilda.
"We are thinking they will possibly be setting up in one house and we will all go to that house for the individual auctions.
"We know for sure that we will have friends and family in that room with us as it goes to auction.
"Some couldn't make it and a couple are watching on from heaven.
"We know we are surrounded by loving, supportive people whom we asked to be in the room with us because in some way each one of them made it possible for us to be there."
Deb and Andy were away from home for four months during the build.
"It took a lot of work from those at home caring for the kids, and business etc while we were away and they are as much a part of the Green Team as we are."
Also in the room with them will be their builders, Seany and Scottie.
"These two were with us on this crazy ride every step of the way. We couldn't have done it without them."
Deb and Andy's house is the central home of the massive property.
They have created a space that is light filled, beautiful and very luxurious.
"It has the best quality fixtures and fittings, and is very well built.
"We were told by foreman Keith it's the best workmanship he's seen on any series of The Block so far."
We know we are surrounded by loving, supportive people whom we asked to be in the room with us because in some way each one of them made it possible for us to be there.
- Deb Saunders
The open-for-inspections were attended by about 15,000 people and Deb said the feedback was very positive.
"People loved the house. They were absolutely amazing and so supportive.
"What we noticed on the day was that there was zero negativity.
"We talked to so many people and they only had great things to say about all of the contestants and all of the houses. It was so great."
Watching back on their experience on the television over the past few months has been enjoyable.
"We have loved watching it back," said Deb, who has always been a huge fan of the show since it started back in 2003.
"We've been able to see how the other teams dealt with their stressful situations.
"It's amazing what people can create under such intense pressure.
"I think the cast this year was awesome. Andy and I couldn't have done it without them all. They are a very supportive and kind bunch."
The experience has taught them they can do anything they put their minds to.
"It tested us in every way," said Deb.
"It was nothing like what we thought it would be and about 1000 times harder than it appears on TV.
"In fact, this year was probably a million times harder due to the size.
"It teaches you so much and takes you way out of your comfort zone and you are completely exhausted.
"It can be a strange head space to be in and sometimes you hate it and love it all in the same moment.
"The crew behind the scenes are awesome and we've made life long friends in both the cast and crew.
"We've all seen each other in our lowest moments and you get to know people really well when you strip all of the pleasantries away.
"There's only time to be your true self on The Block. There isn't time to pretend."
The support they've received during the whole experience is one they are both grateful for.
"I would love to say a big thanks to our incredible locals who have supported us from the very beginning to now. We feel the love and are truly grateful for it.
"We are also very grateful for our team who were here at home while we were away and who held the fort and kept our kids safe, happy and loved.
"To my sisters who kept The Shed Luxe on track, a huge thanks as well.
"We would not have gone if it weren't for all of them."
This season was the most ambitious project ever attempted on The Block. The Oslo, was almost twice the size of last year's apartments.
Joining Deb and Andy as Block Heads this year were Mitch and Mark in house one, Tess and Luke in house two, Matt and El'ise in house four and Jesse and Mel in house five.
Judged each week on their work by Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Neale Whitaker, throughout the season Deb and Andy secured three room wins.
The first was for their guest ensuite, the next for the second guest bedroom and the last for their kitchen.
Once auctioned, each couple keeps any profit over its reserve price and the property that sells for the most above reserve will be declared the winners of The Block and receive an extra $100,000.
