And the community is being to a barbecue to view the final design plans on Tuesday, November 12.
One year later, with contributions confirmed from the community, planning began in earnest.
Bulahdelah Lions Club raised an enormous $181,000 for this project, and together with $79,000 from MidCoast Council and $50,000 from the Australian Government's Building our Future fund, local skaters will soon have their very own impressive skate park, located at Mountain Park.
"We'll be presenting the final design for the skate park on the day to provide an opportunity for the community to ask any questions in regards to the new facility," council's Dan Aldridge said.
"Due to the Bulahdelah Lions Club's amazing contribution to the project, this skatepark will be one of the best in the MidCoast region."
The community is invited to the (Alum) Mountain Park on Tuesday, November 12 from 3.30pm to 5pm, to enjoy a sausage sizzle, view the design and ask the project team any questions.
