Three riders in A grade came into the weekend in equal first position.

The grade's criterium proved to be one for the ages, with Glenn Mathiske taking the charge.

With Tyler Nicholson approaching, Mathiske slowed down and pushed the 23-year-old ahead to go ahead.

The rest of the pack soon gave way, leaving Tyler and Glenn to finish the race alone.

The event attracted a number of riders from out of town. They were Tamworth CC's Phillip Kelaher (A grade) and Rob Wright (B grade), Marconi CC's Will Pender (A grade) and Wade Buchan (B grade), Hunter District CC's Andrew Giovanetti (B grade), Port Macquarie CC's Oscar Jakeman, Paul Hamerlok, Alani Cockshutt (B grade), Todd Cockshutt (C grade) and Charlie Hamerlok (juniors).
