The West will go into the game minus top batsman, Josh Meldrum, who is unavailable. Mills admits Meldrum is almost impossible to replace.
"We're weighing up the options, whether to bring in a batsman or a bowler,'' Mills said.
However, he said the club has a host of promising young players.
"The club's in a good position, there's some good young players here so it might be time to give them a chance in the premier league,'' he said.

Mills opened the batting last week with Zac Sheather, however, he said giving a youngster a chance at the top of the order tomorrow is a possibility, especially with the likelihood of a favourable batting track.
"Batsmen always good good value for shots at Wingham,'' Mills said.
Mills will be batting if he calls correctly at the toss.
"The conditions never change much and 90 per cent of the time when you win the toss, you bat.''
Meldrum will be the only player missing from the opening week game against Wauchope RSLl. This was washed out with the match evenly poised. After scrambling to 109 in difficult conditions Taree West had Wauchope in trouble at 3/31 when the rain started.
