To bait you must be accredited in the handling and safe use of 1080, which includes a chemical card (AQF3) or Hunter Local Land Service (LLS) Vertebrate Pesticide Training qualification.
If anyone would like to participate in the program, but do not currently have the accreditation, a Vertebrate Pesticide Training course will be held at the Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation Club from 5.30pm on Tuesday, October 29. This course is free and the qualification lasts for five years.
Also as part of the program, on November 1 at the Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation Club parking area from 3pm baits will be issued.
Please RSVP to Kirstin Bisley, the biosecurity officer on 0438 593 875 or Laurie Mullen on 0407 785 007.

Bluegrass concert
The Upper Lansdowne Hall has another great evening of entertainment planned for Tuesday, October 29 when the "masters of bluegrass", the South Carolina Broadcasters will be performing.
Their razor-sharp harmonies, exceptional multi-instrumentation and fabulous song selection will have listeners riveted to their seats. This unique trio has put their own spin on the music of the foothills. Wherever they go audiences connect with the Broadcasters through heartfelt songs and good old-fashioned entertainment.
For this tour the core of the band, David Sheppard and Ivy Sheppard are joined by Jackson Cunningham, who has toured Australia many times with the highly regarded Whitetop Mountaineers.
As usual tasty, home-made food, tea and coffee will be available in the hall, but feel free to take along your own drinks and nibbles. The evening commences at 7pm. For bookings and information phone Sue on 0405 449 060.
