Six Manning players were involved in NSW sides at the tournament along with coach Tony Lewis. Linda Ferguson won a gold medal in the over 50s following a 1-0 win over Queensland in the final. Lewis coached the team.
Kate Ryan was a member of the victorious 65s team. NSW won the gold after beating Western Australia 1-0 in a wobble off. Lyn Hinton was a member of the 55s side. Here NSW finished with the silver medal when beaten in a wobble off by Queensland in the final. (A wobble off is a one-on-one between a goal keeper and a striker. The striker starts at the 25 line and has eight seconds to score a goal. It is used to break drawn scorelines).
Melissa Mendham also came home with silver after NSW lost the over 45s final 1-0 to Queensland. Kristy Aldridge and Kerrie Davy played in the 40s. NSW finished third after defeating South Australia 2-1 in the playoff.
