The Forster concert is at St Alban's Anglican Church on Sunday, October 20, and the Taree concert is at St John's Anglican Church on Sunday, October 27. Both commence 2pm and run until 4.30pm with a break for afternoon tea.
The concert program features a diverse mix of songs from a range of well known songwriters spanning the ages.
The audience will enjoy the melodies and harmonies presented by the choir of mature aged people and soloists, with songs ranging from classics such as Lullaby of Broadway, I Got Plenty of Nuttin' and What a Wonderful World, to Verdi's Triumphal Scene from Aida and Mozart's Alleluia.
There will also be a chance for the audience to sing along with some old fashioned favourites at the conclusion of the concert.
All monies raised from the concerts will be donated to Manning Uniting Church which deliver many local welfare programs to the homeless and those in need in the local area.
The choir's director is the well known Pam Archer OAM, who is very proud of their charity fund-raising efforts. More than $15,000 has been raised over the last five years, all of which has been donated to local charities.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children, available from the door from 1pm, with afternoon tea available for a gold coin donation.
