This follows the major semi-final, where Sharks upset the minor premiers 2-0 in a comprehensive performance. Town bounced back to form last week when accounting for Tacking Point Thunder 2-0 to move through to the decider.
"I think we just wanted it a bit more than they did in the major semi,'' Sharks coach Blake Chivers said.
"We had a bit more drive and determination and it showed.''
Kristy Aldridge will be a key performer for Sharks in the clash against Town. She heads to the Gold Coast next week to play for NSW over 40s in the Australian Masters.
Sharks go into the match without any injury problems and Chivers assured they're primed for another big effort.
He wouldn't single out any particular player who he thought could swing the game Sharks' way.
"They all have their jobs to do,'' he said.
However, he added Sharks do boast experienced players in key positions. He further noted that two players, Linda Ferguson and Mel Mendham have both represented Australia this year - Ferguson for the Australian over 50 indoor side and Mendham for the Australian over 45s field hockey.
Chivers said cutting down Town's midfield options will be important for his side.
Sharks will also be looking to make up for last season's disappointment when they missed the semi-finals after being docked points for failing to perform umpire duties.
