In a dominating display Sharks completely outplayed Town to move through to the grand final on Saturday September 21.
Town, the minor premiers, will now play either Tigers or Tacking Point Thunder in the final this week. Their opponent will be determined when Manning Hockey rules on a protest from Tigers over Thunder allegedly fielding a suspended player in the minor semi-final. Thunder won the game 3-0.
Jordan Moscatt was in fine touch for the winners and continually worried the Town defence. However, there were no failures in the Sharks side.
Sharks trooped off at halftime leading 1-0 and sealed the win with a goal soon after the resumption.
Town were right off their game and will now have to regroup if they are to tackle Sharks in the grand final.
Kalani Cross was the best for Town.
Town went into the game without Ali Allport and Tilley Hunter. Both will return for the final.
