On Saturday, September 7 at, 11am the rescue helicopter has been tasked on a primary mission to a motocross track at Nerong, south of Bulahdelah, to a man who has suffered a leg injury.
Then on Sunday, September 8 at about 1pm, the helicopter was called to a motor vehicle accident at Darawank, north of Forster where a 59 year old man had been injured.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter rendezvoused with an ambulance at Forster transporting the man, suffering chest injuries sustained in the single vehicle accident. He was transferred to John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle in a stable condition.
