The action takes place in the drawing room in an early Victorian house, 'Little Paddock', in the village of Chipping Cleghorn.
An announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock's house. The victim is not one of the house's several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor.
The director is Paul Addison, who has directed numerous shows for Taree Arts Council, including South Pacific, The Sound of Music and The Hollow.
Performances are Thursday October 17 at 8pm, Friday October 18 at 8pm, Saturday October 19 at 2pm and 8pm and Sunday October 20 at 2pm. Tickets are $35 adults and $30 concession/groups of 10 plus.
