A 46-year-old man was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital following a trail bike accident in bushland at Purfleet.
The helicopter service attended just after lunchtime on Saturday, August 10.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and the helicopter service's critical care medical team for serious arm and shoulder injuries before being flown to hospital.
A 23-year-old motorcross rider was also airlifted to John Hunter Hospital following an accident at Nerong on Saturday.
The man suffered serious injuries and was stabilised by paramedics and the critical care medical team before transported to hospital.
