OLD Bar will now have to survive sudden death matches to defend the Football Mid North Coast Southern League premiership.
This follows the Wingham's 1-0 defeat of the Barbarians in the opening week of the finals series.
The game was played in gusty conditions at Old Bar. The Barbarians will now meet Great Lakes in week two of the series at Old Bar on Saturday.
Pacific Palms will play Tinonee in the other sudden death match at Pacific Palms.
This follows Tinonee's 7-0 hammering of Tuncurry-Forster in the game at Tinonee while Great Lakes ended Wallamba's season with a 4-2 win over Boronia Park.
