In the video, the former district forester and National Parks area manager speaks to the Fellowship First Fleeters Mid North Coast Chapter about the stories and characters associated with the history of the mountain.
Mining, which took place between 1878 and 1950, has left its legacy in the form of the mountain's profile.
Kevin discusses the quarries stationed on the mountain in the past, the walking trails erected in the vicinity of the mountain and the boiler (which remains on the mountain today).
"The boiler was brought there and they never quite salvaged it," Kevin explained.
You'll see a series of historical photos, which Kevin explains in great detail.
