Moylan had missed the previous five matches due to a shoulder injury, but slotted in seamlessly on the right side in the six-tries-to-four win.
Opposing centre Sam Watts had a mixed day for the Blues, scoring a double himself, but he also spent 10 minutes in the sin bin in the shadows of halftime.
He then bombed a certain four-pointer when he dropped the ball over the line after the Blues had rallied to within 10 points of the Hawks midway through the second half.
Forster-Tuncurry coach Phil Adamson said it was a pivotal performance from his side who extended their winning streak to four games ahead of a home elimination final with Port City next Saturday.
"It was pretty important for us to win and sent a message to everyone that we've got good form and we've also got some players to come back," he said.
"We're just happy to get the two points at Wauchope; it's been a while since Forster has done that."
The Hawks coach was far less impressed with their discipline in the second half that saw five-eighth Jake Collins and winger Dylan Clarke sent for 10-minute stints in the sin bin.
"(The referee) had been good for us in the first half so we knew something might go different in the second half and obviously it did, but that was our own fault," Adamson said.
"The boys were undisciplined and did some stupid things so that's something we'll have to look at through the week."
Wauchope assistant coach Kodi Baird lamented a flat performance from his side who couldn't finish any higher than third.
Only a blowout defeat would have seen them finish any lower.
"There was a lack of energy there; we didn't get ourselves into it right throughout the game," he said.
"There were moments of brilliance but there was a lot of ill-discipline."
Watts' day was symptomatic of the Blues overall performance.
"When we're on we don't make those mistakes... it was just very un-Wauchope-like," Baird said.
"We had a big win last week against the Mustangs and were on a bit of a high so for that to happen (this week) is a bit of a kick in the backside.
"Hopefully they respond well next week at Wingham."
Teenage winger Rhys Nelson scored a try on debut while 17-year-old fullback Tony Thompson was arguably the Blues' best along with centre Beau White.
"Tony has been great all year; he stepped up from 18s and is only a 17-year-old kid himself and Beau White was very good," Baird said.
"He picks up the scraps; if there is a loose ball ... he's on it, if there's a high kick ... he's on it; I'd love to be able to play with him."
