ArtWalk 2019 focuses on the Port Macquarie central business district from 6pm to 9pm and is an eclectic celebration of the arts and culture. Artists will be dotted around the central business district and the ArtWalk will also feature school involvement.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council group manager Lucilla Marshall said people can enjoy the creative activities at their own pace.
"You can go into your local optometrist or walk into your local cafe or bar and see an artist at work," Ms Marshall said.
"You can watch, you can get involved, you can enjoy or just relax and take it all in."
People can expect a vibrant atmosphere with an eclectic collection of art and cultural experiences.
"Each of the artists will bring their own little bit to the night," Ms Marshall said.
The night will also include an artists' market at the Town Square and The Glasshouse will provide a program of music from 6pm on the steps.
ArtWalk, presented by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, aims to lift the profile of the area's creative industries and ensure artists are recognised for their contribution.
