The Lions Clubs of Manning River, Taree, Old Bar, Forster-Tuncurry, Harrington and Hallidays Point were involved in the purchase of the Comfort Fusion Chairs.
At a joint presentation at the hospital, Colin Keen, nursing unit manager for the level five medical floor, thanked the Lions for their commitment to the Manning Hospital.
He went on to say how these pressure relieving chairs are world class in design and will prove a valuable asset in assisting staff to rehabilitate patients.
