Under the training of their captain Sherrie Gaul he passed his Basic Fire course, quickly slipped into the role of president for the brigade due to his dedication and willingness to help anyway he could.
Michael had been driver training the past month with Sherrie and this week he passed his Medium Ridged licence.
This means that the Coopernook brigade now has four drivers and when Sherrie and her family are away, Michael is still able to roll out the fire truck with a crew wherever it is needed.
Captain Sherrie couldn't be prouder of all his achievements in the time he has been with the brigade and she is looking forward to helping him progress further.
