In an effort to make this year's event bigger and better, Gloucester Business Chamber has expanded the festival across two days.
On Saturday, July 27 from 9am, Gloucester's business district will transform into a street festival with stall holders, activities and entertainment planned to fill Church Street, part of Denison Street, Billabong Car Park and Billabong Park.
According to event coordinator, Linay Eagar, residents and visitors can expect to see a lot of the old favourites, including the dog show, the car show and rides on the vintage train, Tin Hare, plus many retail and food stalls and amusement rides for the young ones.
In the past, when the street market closed for the day so did the festival, but not this year; as the sun starts to go down, there will be even more to do.
At 4pm, the Aussie Nightmarkets are set to fill up Gloucester District Park at Farley Gates cricket oval, bringing with it around 50 street food stalls and retail vendors, plus rides for the kids.
Once the children are worn out and off to bed, it'll be adult only time at the Gloucester Soldiers Club with Aussie iconic band, Mental As Anything and opening act, Dave Wells kicking off at 7.30pm.
Sunday, July 28 the festival continues for all those who've stayed the night or those who already live here, with numerous activities taking place, including morning tea and tour at the Gloucester Tucker Patch, the Pix from the Stix photography competition exhibition in the Gloucester Gallery and Tallowdale Music's From Hidden Valleys, film premiere and gala concerts at the Gloucester Soldiers Club.
