Police say over the weekend of July 13-14, thieves targeted holiday and caravan parks in the district.
Unsecured items including scooters, pushbikes and personal property were stolen.
Police received reports that on Friday night, July 12 two pushbikes were stolen from a caravan park in Forster. Also on Friday night a make-up bag was stolen from a caravan park in Tuncurry and on Saturday night a motorised scooter and a push bike were stolen from a caravan park in Harrington.
Police are also investigating the theft of a mountain bike which had been cut from its secure mounting at the rear of a caravan at the Diamond Head campground between 9pm Saturday night, July 13 and 6am Sunday morning, July 14.
