A workshop will be held in Taree at the Taree Library on Wednesday, July 24, from 10.30am to 12.30pm
Participants will learn how to reduce their food, plastic and textile waste, and receive information on where to recycle plastics and how to do a home audit, as well as making a veggie bag to take home.
"It's fantastic to see the environmental movement continuing to gain momentum and we're delighted to be offering these workshops to further promote the 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' message," MidCoast Council Libraries manager, Chris Jones said.
"We believe that the more we promote these kinds of messages, and show how easy it is to implement the small changes, the more people we can get on board."
This project is a NSW Waste Less, Recycle More initiative with funding from the waste levy.
The workshop is free but bookings are essential. Visit midcoastlibraries.nsw.gov.au/events
