Ron and Helen Hindmarsh have decided to part with their personal collection painted over the past 30 years. The range of subjects trace the couple's journeys throughout Australia and overseas and mediums used include oils, watercolour, pastels, pen and wash and acrylics.
Ron and Helen have each donated a painting to be raffled, with the proceeds being shared between two local charities, Manning Valley Push 4 Palliative and Art and Soul PTSD therapy art classes. Tickets will be available at the craft cottage throughout the exhibition and up until the drawing on July 31.
Ron has also donated a pen and wash framed drawing of the old Skinner's Butcher Shop at Wingham and visitors to the exhibition can win this original sketch by voting for their favourite painting in the collection, and placing their vote in the box provided.
The Hindmarsh Collection will be on display at Taree Craft Cottage until on Saturday, July 20. Opening hours are 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.30am to 1pm Saturdays. Admission is free.
