Cundletown resident, Max Carey said the work had been going on for about four weeks and the sealing was finished on the morning of July 3.
"Good job," Max said. "It will ease parking congestion for boats and trailers at weekends."
Council upgraded the parking areas on either side of the ramp, to formalise the trailer parking area on north west side and provide 90 degree parking on south east side.
Council told residents there would be only minor impact on residents as majority of works was off road.
Planning for the boat ramp upgrade began in December 2016 when the community was invited to an information session to discuss the two concept plans prepared for the site.
