The Pirates go into week nine without a win. They face Taree City on Saturday at the Jack Neal Oval.
"I'd say at this stage talking semi-final football is a bit out of the question,'' Moorehead admitted.
"But we can dream. Get a win on Saturday and go through the rest of the season undefeated and we'll go close.''
Moorehead insists the morale in the club remains strong.
"Our training sessions are upbeat. We just want to get that win and then see how things go from there. As Shannon (Ellem) said at training this week, we have to with pride from the world go.''
Moorehead said the Pirates are looking healthier this week with the return of Josh Starr, Joel Dark and Kane Evans, Justin Berry is also back but is likely to play reserve grade.
Berry, a utility back, has been plagued by hamstring problems this season.
Moorehead said the face there's no under 18.5s this week means he will have no trouble have four fresh players on his bench.
Dark, Starr and Evans have been named on the bench. North Coast under 23 representative Conor Taylor has reclaimed his berth at five-eighth while Dylan Towers is the hooker, allowing promising Daniel Cocksedge to qualify for the under 18.5 semi-finals.
