Ganged baits of pilchard and garfish have been working well as have chrome metal lures in the 40-85 gram range.
Harrington breakwall is also coming alive with plenty of bream to be found on the run in tide. Luderick are also coming on the bite with fish being caught both day and night.
A few nice mulloway up to 110cms have also been caught along the wall, fishing the tide changes with silver & gold lures has produced some great results.
Snapper fishing has again been good inshore. The shoals off Crowdy have produced some nice fish for those flicking plastics and& down at Old Bar; bait fishos have had some great sessions using pilchard, mackerel and squid for bait.
If you're looking for a cheap, fun and easy way to entertain the kids this weekend, I suggest a trip to Crowdy boat harbour where the garfish should be making an appearance, small hooks and a pack of prawns is all you need.
