After the very moving funeral at St Bernadette's, a large part of the attendees wandered a couple of hundred metres up the main street and into the Krambach School of Arts Hall, where the ladies (some of them direct Murray relatives as we learned through conversation with them) provided refreshments in the very best tradition of 'community' as espoused by Les Murray in his poetry and wider writings.
It was a wonderful, authentic and delicious experience. The ladies did Les proud.
