The Tigers were in front 32-12 when Sullivan went to the bench. He watched the remainder of the game from the sideline as the Tigers cleaned up the Bulls 50-12.

"It was just precautionary,'' Sullivan assured.

"After playing on a heavy track last week my calves were a bit tight.''

He agreed the Tigers have plenty of depth in 2019 as Trent Green was Sullivan's replacement in the second half. This was Green's first game since the opening round because of work commitments.

Despite the scoreline Sullivan wasn't completely happy with his side's performance.

"We were probably off a bit today to be honest,'' he said.

"That road trip to Kempsey last week probably took a bit out of us. The tempo was a bit flat, but it was good to get the win. It's pleasing to put some points on when you're a fraction off.

"The big thing was that we completed much better and that gave us a chance to show some shape.''

He agreed forwards Nick Beacham, Jake Mullen and Joel Kliendienst were 'outstanding.'

"We lost Blake (Fraser) today, but just having that front row back makes a huge difference. It really helps to have the middle rolling forward,'' he said.
