The Amazon Kindle bestselling, award-nominated romance and women's fiction author, will be at the Taree library on May 30 from 1pm to 2pm, then later that evening from 6pm to 7pm at Forster library.
'The Land Girls' is set in Melbourne in 1942 when war had engulfed Europe and the Pacific, with Australia fighting for its future.
The book follows three very different characters, Flora, Betty and Lilian, who meet when they become members of the Australian Women's Land Army.
As the women embrace their new world of close-knit community and backbreaking work, they begin to find pride in their roles and a kind of liberation.
But as the clouds of war darken the horizon, and their fears for loved ones - brothers, husbands, lovers - fighting at the front grow, the women's hold on their world and their new-found freedoms is fragile.
Even if they make it through unscathed, they will not come through unchanged.
Victoria is a wonderful story teller and a regular guest and convenor at writers' festivals, as well as a mentor to other writers and a workshop presenter.
Tickets to her events are free but bookings are essential.
Bookings can be made at library.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/Events.
