
Dancers competing in district and open sections at the Taree and District Eisteddfod will be adjudicated by someone who still actively teaches, performs, choreographs and adjudicates.
Christopher Wood is the principal and artistic director of In Rhythm Dance Co, which he created in 2003. Since then he has successfully sent hundreds of students through their BAL (Ballet Australasia Ltd) exams.

Dancing and performing professionally since he was five, Christopher has choreographed and performed in shows that have toured Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America.
He has also choreographed shows in the main arena at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, the 1000th episode of Video Hits and the 2000 Sydney Olympic Torch Relay.
His performances include various cabaret shows, ACE Awards, Variety Heart Awards, Video Hits and the Victor Chang Foundation.
Television appearances include, The Young Doctors, The Restless Years, Sons and Daughters, Colour in the Creek (Mini Series), The Midday Show, Roy & HG and in excess of 50 local and international commercials.
Christopher adjudicates throughout the year for various eisteddfods and for The Australian Dance Championship regional and the finals which are held at the Gold Coast each year.
He has been the head judge of Showcase for the past 12 years as well as judge of Australian Dance Idol and Australia's Most Talented Kid Pageant.
In 2007, Christopher was the only Australian judge at the World Dance Championships held in Las Vegas.
The organisers were so impressed with his technique that they asked him to join them again in July 2009 in Long Beach California and again in Las Vegas in 2013.
Christopher has continued with his dance and teaching education by successfully completing the follow courses: CUA40314. Certificate IV in Dance Teaching Management, TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training And Assessment, TAELLN411 - Literacy Language Numeracy (LLN) and TCIII in Tap and Classical.
The district and open sections run from May 6 to 12 at the Manning Entertainment Centre.
The novice and group sections, which starts on May 18 and continues to May 26, will be adjudicated by Sonyia Walsh.
