Alongside her father Peter, Katie will judge the egg class at the show on Sunday, June 9 at Taree Showground.
It will be the first time the competition will run.
The dynamic duo will also be on hand to provide advice on how to produce the 'perfect' egg, nutrition, hatchability and edibility.

Katie has been involved with the club for many years and is keen to share her knowledge with others.
"I think it's really fun, it's good that I have something to do at such a young age," she said.
Anyone can enter the competition, with the public invited to attend the show.
Judging will be based on competitors putting forward an egg plate. But the event isn't just about winning prizes.
"It doesn't have to be a competition, they can just have fun with them as well," she said.
More than 900 birds were featured at last year's event, with numerous prizes up for grabs across a variety of breeds and categories.
