The parade mustered outside Wingham Services Club at 9am and made its way down Farquhar Street to the Wingham Memorial Town Hall where the service was held.
The Wingham RSL Sub-branch was well represented, as were the Wingham Fire and Rescue brigade, Wingham SES, First Wingham Scouts Group and local schools.
Reverend Darrell McKeough performed the prayers, and Eric Richardson OAM fulfilled his yearly tradition by performing the Ode.
Wingham High School students formed the Flag Party, while school captain Stephen Smith delivered a rousing speech, with fellow school captain Rawai Poini at his side.
Young Lincoln Harrell once again was the bugler and Kantabile Chamber Choir performed a number of songs. A poignant addition to this year's repertoire was the singing of the New Zealand National Anthem, in addition to the Australian National Anthem, as a symbol of solidarity and support for our New Zealand neighbours after the recent terrorist attack in Christchurch.
After the conclusion of the service, members of the Wingham RSL Sub-branch made their way to Wingham Memorial Services Club for a luncheon.
Two-up commences at 1.30pm at the Club and will finish at 5.30pm.
