Students from Taree High, Chatham High and St Clare's High schools worked together to cook up a storm inside the Macquarie Street entrance of Taree High School.
Bacon and egg rolls and sausage sandwiches were the choice meals of the day, with many dropping by to grab breakfast before the march and service.
A strong crowd lined Victoria Street to clap and cheer all those who participated in the march.
They gathered down the road at the memorial clock for the ceremony, led by members of Taree RSL Sub-branch.
