Police are investigating the theft of firearms, ammunition, cash and jewellery from a rural property at Nabiac over the Easter holiday weekend.

Police say on Friday, April 19, a 52-year-old man left his rural property on the Pacific Highway at Nabiac.
When he returned home about 6pm on Tuesday, April 23, he saw the gun safe door in the garage had been forced open, with two shotguns and an air rifle, ammunition, cash and jewellery missing.
Officers from Manning-Great Lakes Police District established a crime scene and initiated an investigation.
A number of items have been seized by detectives for forensic examination.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area over the Easter long weekend to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
