Beginner and intermediate skateboarders were given some handy tips at the Skate Jam Session in Taree.
The event on Friday, April 12 was held at Taree Skate Park as one of the many action packed activities for Youth Week.
A group of keen skateboarders harnessed their skills from informal coaching, courtesy of YMCA skate staff.
A similar session was held at Gloucester last Thursday.
The fun didn't stop there, with many riders across the Mid Coast kickflipping their way to Tuncurry for the annual King of the Krater competition the following day.
This event attracted almost 200 competitors, who competed in skate, scooter and BMX bike events.
"The kids had a ball, they couldn't have had a better day and they left the park beautifully clean at the end," organiser Ted Bickford said.
