TAREE Motorcycle Club intends to conduct 'come and try' activities on a regular basis for junior riders.

This follows the success of a promotion held at the Old Bar Roadside Circuit.
Club president Troy Baker said the events will be held in conjunction with proactice days. He advised that "knobby" tyres are permitted in the come and try activities.
While seniors and juniors took the opportunity to gain track time and practice, the come-and try component consisted of non-competitive, minikhana-style exercises and basic rider training for juniors only.
As well as the regulars at the track, two senior riders, Casey Heatley and Shane Richard, travelled from Sydney to take part in the practice day and have a ride on the TMC oiled, dirt track. Casey's dad, Greg, is president of Macarthur Motorcycle Club.
Race secretary, Lise Olsen, said juniors Tyler Harrison and Liam Erickson rode on the oil track for the first time and they enjoyed the expereince A number ofjJuniors joined the new riders in the minikhana-style activities.
Lise reported that the club welcomed new juniors Chloe Bisley, Hayden Ellis, Riley Fazio, Carter Fergus, David Fergus and Blake Nicholson.
Newly elected club vice president, Ian Bisley, ran the come-and-try with the assistant of parents, particularly John. Ian is an accomplished rider and among other notable achievements, he was the Australian dirt track Pro 450cc champion in 2013.
