According to officers from the Manning-Great Lakes Police District a 25-year-old woman was working behind the till when she was approached by a man wearing a bike helmet and armed with a knife at approximately 6.40pm.
The man told the woman to fill a bag with cash and cigarettes before leaving the scene on a motorcycle.
Police were called and established a crime scene, with a description of the motorcycle and rider broadcast.
