The site, listed by Burgess Rawson, is on a secure lease to 2027 plus options until 2047.
It will be auctioned from 11am on Tuesday, April 2 in Sydney. The site measures 3126 square metres and includes a liquor store.
Burgess Rawson selling agent Michael Gilbert said the longstanding supermarket, situated in the heart of the Taree CBD, would be a welcome asset for any investor.
"The strategic location of this IGA is second to none in that it is literally in the centre of Taree's main shopping area.
"The tenants have been trading for nearly 50 years and the investment has a strong net income of $590,941 per annum plus GST, as well as there being annual CPI rental increases in place.
"With the lease guaranteed by ASX-listed Metcash, who recorded more than $14 billion in sales last year, it makes this property a very easily managed, premium tenant investment for the lucky new owner," he said.
