Participants in the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Great Shave fundraiser frequently opt to at least leave a bit of covering, albeit very, very short, on their heads.
Not these three. Fay Millan, Brenda Jackson and Warren Provost were brave and went bald, raising more than $300 in the process.
Around 25 people were at the group's craft centre and shop in Cundletown to cheer them on.
"It was a really good morning," Handmade on the Manning secretary, Zeila Hoare said.
"We're hoping to do a few more of those kind of things here."
Zeila has been making reversible chemo caps, floral one side, plain on the other, to sell at the shop and the three volunteers might need them to keep their naked noggins warm.
The chemo caps, along with many more handcrafted items, are on sale at Handmade on the Manning, in the old cafe next to the Caltex near Taree Airport.
