Lansdowne school has received several surveys showing interest in using a before and after school care service at the school. The school is currently applying to gain approval for this service.

If the school is successful in their application, it will mean parents can use their Child Care subsidy and may pay as little as $2.55 per hour. Permanent and casual booking would be available. If you are interested in before and after school care, please contact the school office for further information and a survey.
Lansdowne school assembly awards were presented to the following students. Class K/1/2: Student of the Week is Lucius Auld Doing for doing his best with all his learning.
Class awards to Saharah Bell for excellent progress in reading and Hollyanne West for her fantastic effort during Gymnastics. Artist award to Alex Emerton for his wonderful "Tree".
Class 3/4/5/6: Student of the Week is Kelsey James for always following rules and setting a good example for others. Class awards to Kataya Potts for taking pride in her work and displaying neat book work and Thomas Newman for improved attitude to learning. The Artist award to Cheyenne Witchard for "Unique Hands".
Lansdowne school P and C is holding a barbecue and a mini market on election day, March 23, at the school from 8am to 2pm.
Donations of plants, produce, craft items, jewellery, CDs and DVDs, kitchen items, tools, toys, or anything that is in a clean and reasonable condition would be appreciated.
Lansdowne Fishing Club
The Lansdowne Fishing club will hold their next $50 seafood tray raffle on Saturday the 30th of March at the Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation club.
Their next fishing club outing is on the 6th and 7th of April with the weigh in from 2.00pm on the Sunday at the club.
The second fishing club outing for April we be on Saturday the 13th at Dunbogan from 9.30am.
Lansdowne Football Club
The first Lansdowne football clubs' games will be played at home on the 30th March. This year they have 2 under 6's teams, 1 under 8's team. 1 under 11's team and 1 under 13's team. They also have a senior men's and a senior's women's team.
This Sunday, March 24, the club members will be having a working bee to make sure everything is prepared and ready to go for their first game. The main aim for the working bee is to complete line marking and giving the canteen and club house a cleanup. If you are willing to help be there from 9.30am. There will be a free barbecue lunch for all helpers.
