This would involve five clubs from FMNC and five from North Coast Football competing in an 18 round season in first and reserve grades. The grand final would alternate between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie each season.
The proposed competition has the support of the FMNC and North Coast Football boards and has been endorsed by the senior clubs at meetings in both zones. Expressions of interest will be called from interested clubs soon.
"This is an exciting joint venture,'' Football Mid North Coast chairman Mike Parsons said.
