Vying for the seat of Myall Lakes are Stephen Bromhead for The Nationals, Dr David Keegan for Country Labor, Eleanor Spence for The Greens, Paul Sandilands as an Independent, Heather Elliot for the Shooters Fishers and Farmers, and Quentin Bye for Sustainable Australia.
A large number of voting centres will be open from 8am until 6pm on election day (Saturday).
The NSW Electoral Commission names the following polling locations for the Myall Lakes:
- Bulahdelah Central School
- Bungwahl Public School
- Burrell Creek Hall
- Chatham High School
- Coolongolook Public School
- Coomba Park Community Hall
- Cundletown Public School
- Elands Public School
- Forster campus of Great Lakes College
- Forster Public School
- the Forster administration building of MidCoast Council
- Hallidays Point Community Church
- Hallidays Point Public School
- Killabakh Community Hall
- Krambach Public School
- Manning Gardens Public School
- Marlee District Hall
- Mitchells Island Hall
- Mount George Public School
- Nabiac Public School
- Old Bar Public School
- Ormsby House
- Pacific Palms Community Centre
- Purfleet Multi-Purpose Community Centre
- St John's Anglican Church Hall in Dyers Crossing
- Sydney Town Hall
- Taree High School
- Taree West Public School
- Tinonee Memorial School of Arts
- Tuncurry Public School
- Tuncurry Salvation Army Hall
- Wherrol Flat Public Hall
- Wingham Brush Public School
- Wingham Town Hall
The counting of votes at polling places start 6pm election day. With only days to go until the election, pre-poll voting has been taking place across NSW since March 11.
You can cast an early vote at the Manning Uniting Church in Albert Street, Taree, or the Myall Lakes Election Manager's Office at 50 Wharf Street, Forster, until 6pm on Friday, March 22.
Another option is to vote online or by telephone using iVote and applications can be completed at registration.ivote.nsw.gov.au.
Voters using iVote internet and telephone voting will be able to cast their vote until 6pm election day.
