Twenty six-year-old Liam, who was born and raised in Wingham and attended Wingham High from 2005 until graduating in 2010, is running on behalf of a new political movement called Flux, who is running 17 candidates across the State.
“I was disillusioned with the current state of politics and the constant bickering between the two major parties," Liam said.
The Flux concept is simple: it allows registered voters to direct how elected Flux members vote on legislation by expressing their preference via the Flux app.
"Flux will provide a new platform for democracy and allow politicians to enact the people's will more effectively," Liam said.
“Like everyone else I have strong views on some NSW state issues, but as a Flux representative my personal views do not, and can not, influence the decision the voters put forward.”
