With 300 people from across the State and beyond expected to converge on Gloucester, the event takes place on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31.
More than 30 speakers have been lined up to cover a range of topics fundamental to the Australia reMade, which is seeking a better future for Australia based on the input of more than 200 leaders from communities around the country.
In the lead up to the convention, two workshops were held in Gloucester to actively seek input from high school students and the wider community to bring the local their voice into the convention workshops.
Students were asked to think about what Gloucester is already doing to be a more inclusive, sustainable community, then asked to contribute ideas for their vision of the best version Australia.
Committee member, Julie Lyford said the convention is about bringing people together to listen, share ideas and develop new networks with the hope that from there things will start to happen in their own communities. Ticket prices range from $25-$150 per day and can be purchased at gloucestersustainablefuture.com until Monday, March 25.
